About Katutubo Village Elementary School
For the indigenous Aeta families of Katutubo Village, seasonal farming and mountain foraging bring in an unpredictable US$100 a month. Ethnic discrimination in mainstream society limits jobs, making education the community's greatest hope for better opportunities. However, extreme poverty takes a heavy toll with 97% of students suffering malnutrition in 2024, and seasonal farming forcing attendance down to as low as 50%. Guaranteed meals gives parents a reason to keep their children in school, turning a cycle of hardship into one of opportunity.

About Our School Meals
Why School Meals?
School meals are a vital lifeline. In the communities we serve, there is no backup—without these daily meals, hunger takes over and learning suffers. By providing reliable, daily nutrition, you fuel children’s education, support their physical and cognitive development, and help entire communities lift themselves up.
