About Gulshan Literacy Program - Gabtoli
Since 1985, when it was established by expatriate founders, GLP has delivered quality education to children living in Dhaka’s urban slums. Across two active campuses in Mirpur and Badda, 464 students from kindergarten to Grade 8 receive tuition-free schooling aligned with the national curriculum, with an emphasis on English. GLP and Thrive serve as an essential hub for community resilience and child development by supporting families living on less than $2 USD a day, who rely on fragile, daily-wage jobs such as rickshaw pulling, tea stalls, and domestic labor.

About Our School Meals
Why School Meals?
School meals are a vital lifeline. In the communities we serve, there is no backup—without these daily meals, hunger takes over and learning suffers. By providing reliable, daily nutrition, you fuel children’s education, support their physical and cognitive development, and help entire communities lift themselves up.
