About Ucchash School
Built by Amal Foundation in 2017 to serve underprivileged children in Char Shonpocha, Bogra. There are 50 primary students ages 6 to 8 years old. Isolated far from the mainland, the river island faces frequent flooding, forcing families to rely on precarious farming and low-wage labor of about BDT 400 – 600 (US$3.50 – $5.00) per day to get by.

About Our School Meals
Why School Meals?
School meals are a vital lifeline. In the communities we serve, there is no backup—without these daily meals, hunger takes over and learning suffers. By providing reliable, daily nutrition, you fuel children’s education, support their physical and cognitive development, and help entire communities lift themselves up.
